POLITICAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES
Milos treated political and social issues rather rarely in his artwork.
It mostly happened in the period shortly of his immigration to Canada at the end of the sixties and then again during the last decade of life, which regularly was overshadowed by depressive phases, not the least as a result of political world events with often catastrophic consequences for the civic population of the afflicted continents or countries. These events, to which he reacted very emotionally, very likely because of his own personal emigration history, fostered finally his more pessimistic world view towards the end of his life.
